A visit to a chalk garden in the Chiltern Hills. A steep sloping lawn leads to a natural swimming pond with aquatic plants. There are wild flowers with native orchids and the shaped borders hold a great variety of trees, shrubs and perennials. A large greenhouse contains a good collection of half-hardy plants in pots.
Please meet at Cedar House at 2.15pm; parking space sufficient for 10 cars. The cost of the visit is: £10 and: £12 for guests, to include tea and cake.
The Russell Arms, Butlers Cross, HP17 0TS, is suggested for lunch
